Housing apartments homes for sale for sale by owner post your listing. Very nice location, directly in Stowe village. The appartement is very clean, all equipped and very well renovate. Stowe mountain is 10 min by car. Nice location for ski, hiking and cycling. The owner is responding very quickly if you have a question.

Hope to go back soon. Exactly as described and pictured in listing. Extremely clean, comfortable, convenient, with thoughtful touches and Vermont decor. Hosts were extremely responsive and quick to respond with any and all communications. Would absolutely stay again. Cozy, charming, and secluded, this cabin is the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. We stayed for two nights over the Thanksgiving holiday.

It was a bit chilly, but once we figured out how to get the wood stove going it was perfect. We were able to hike and enjoy the scenery.

The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped. Laura is a phenomenal host who answered all our questions and thought of everything, including brightly colored hats for us to wear when hiking to stand out during hunting season! I highly recommend a stay here. An absolutely magical weekend getaway in the woods! A perfect escape for anyone looking to unplug and unwind. The cabin is a 10 minute uphill hike in the woods from where you park.

It is the definition of seclusion. From the cabin all you see is woods. She had the wood stove burning for us upon arrival and the whole cabin was warm and cozy despite the chilly temps outside. There is no heat, electricity or running water but the wood stove kept the cabin at the perfect temperature, there are solar powered lights in the kitchen and a fresh water spring down the hill with the coldest, most delicious mountain water to fill up your water bottles with!

So in love with this beautiful cabin and already planning my next trip! A beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. My boyfriend and I needed an escape from the city, and Laura's cabin was perfect. The cabin was cozy, the view was stunning, and the region was a joy to explore. The cabin was beautiful - tucked away in the woods! It was exactly as described. No running water, but Laura started us off with 2 gallons and we came prepared with more.

The outhouse was amazing - it doesn't have a door but overlooks the mountains. I laughed every time I used it. We hiked most of the trails surrounding the cabin - they were beautiful. We would love to go back in the fall or winter to use the wood burning stove and hunker down!

We visited to escape the holiday rush and what a winter escape it was. I highly recommend this cabin. We look forward to visiting again and seeing the landscape transform in different seasons. Thank you for having us and giving us this wonderful opportunity to unwind and disconnect, Laura!

My husband and I so enjoyed the complete privacy of this beautiful property. Laura was quite hospitable. She is a friendly and gracious host. We took her up on the suggestion of her making us dinner and are glad that we did. Laura is an outstanding cook, acquiring all the vegetables from her garden.

Dinner the first night was so good that we requested dinner the next night, as well. And her blueberry, lemon rolls were mouth-watering Website hidden by Airbnb There were fresh coffee beans and a grinder and French press provided, as well as a couple of pans, dishes, bowls, and wine glasses Website hidden by Airbnb The outdoor shower and the luxurious queen size bed were additional treats Website hidden by Airbnb I highly recommend staying at Laura's cabin if you value off the grid living at its best.

Very convenient location to downtown Stowe, breweries and hiking. We could have stayed longer! Ari's village apartment in Stowe offered a nice change of pace during our road-trip around Vermont. The bustling village offers lots of great shopping and dining, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. We recommend making a trip to nearby smugglers notch, it's exceptionally beautiful.

Ari met us when we arrived and walked us through all the details of the apartment, it was just as described on his posting and we greatly enjoyed the great artwork and central location!! Ari was a friendly and accommodating host.

Had a wonderfully time in Stowe. The apartment was perfect for our stay. Great location, super cute and the chocolates were a special treat.

We are already planning our trip back! Perfect location, charming surroundings and comfy beds! LOVE that apartment and we're already sharing it with friends and talking about returning! Ari was very responsive and helpful. The photos do justice the the place.

The location is fabulous, above a shop. The only detractor was a smell in the bedroom behind the bathroom when water was running. Ari is an excellent host and provided some great tips for our stay. His apartment was very clean and cozy. The location is also great because you have a bunch of excellent restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance.

We all really enjoyed our stay there and would come back for sure on our next trip to VT. A wonderful place to stay. The apartment was clean and well furnished. Ari was great week communication. He even had a guidebook for guests with suggestions for things to do! He was extremely communicative and knowledgeable about the area too. It was the perfect spot for our family of four during our all too brief stay and I would definitely recommend it!

Staying in Gerette's cottage was a wonderful and magical experience. We stayed for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed 30 more. We felt at home the moment we stepped through the door. Absolutely everything is provided for and the house is spotlessly clean. We have never had a more peaceful and comfortable sleep - the beds and bedding are immensely comfortable.

Our days were spent reading and relaxing in the beautiful cottage and exploring the many trails right outside the door. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed being off leash the entire time. We cannot wait to return. Although our schedules didn't match up to meet face-to-face, Gerette made sure our check in was smooth and was also just a message away if we needed anything. We arrived to english muffins, jam, and eggs. This Hyde Park retreat was a perfect place to park ourselves while Vermont got two snowstorms.

Our dogs loved exploring the trails and lake. This place is just a few miles away from all amenities, we were able to do some grocery shopping and then enjoy the warmth and coziness of the cabin. Sleeping quarters were great. The place was exactly as described. Gerette was wonderfully helpful and informative.

We stayed here while we spent a weekend snowboarding in Stowe. We would definitely stay again. Quaint, cozy and peaceful Located in a beautiful spot with amazing hiking trails. The cottage has everything you need to be comfortable and Gerette goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome!

We had a very peaceful week staying here with our outdoorsy pup. We had slow mornings, sitting and reading under the newly built arbor. We explored the beautiful woods around the property, hiking the trails daily.

We even spent an afternoon paddling on the Green River Reservoir, which wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of Gerette and Frederick, who lent us their canoe. The place was perfect for our purposes: We cooked many meals in the well-stocked kitchen, and enjoyed treats sent over by Gerette. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially those who like the quiet and the woods! Gerette pays great attention to detail and provides her guests with special treats that turn an immaculate, rustic VT cottage into a mini retreat.

The location is a short distance off the beaten track and requires a brief trip through cow laden meadows in the mountains. It is close to Stowe which offers the best of VT artisan and food culture.

The property is beautiful and offers a woodland hike. I'd love to see this place in the fall and winter. Hope to return and highly recommend it. We spent a terrific long weekend at the cottage with our two dogs. We were in the area for cross-country skiing and visiting local breweries, and this was the perfect location.

The cottage was cozy and clean, warmed by a gas stove. Gerette gave us sheets to cover the sofas which was great instead of saying "dogs not allowed on the furniture". Appreciated the electric blanket on the bed and didn't miss TV at all.

Great trails which the dogs loved- it was awesome to just walk out of the house without leashes and enjoy the woods. We can't wait to go back! Check-in and directions were easy with some lovely personal touches. In all we had a great time. My son and I stayed at Maggie's place. It was absolutely perfect. We walked to town everyday and enjoyed hiking the trails that were walking distance from her front door. After our long hikes we slept in the wonderful comfy beds the linens were so soft We will definitely stay there again.

We had a great weekend staying here. The location is absolutely perfect, within walking distance of so much great stuff to see and do in Stowe and any convenience you could need. Clean and loaded with all the essentials and then some, the apartment also has some of the comfiest beds we'd ever slept on. Maggie's advice and guide were super helpful and useful. She's willing to give you all the space and breathing room you need but really easy to reach and available at the drop of a hat.

Would definitely stay there again. We came into town for a short stay for my daughter's lacrosse tournament. There are plenty of hotels in the area, but unfortunately many of them a rundown. Maggie's apartment is a short walk into town maybe 3 min , and staying there was incredibly easy.

Two nice bedrooms, a common living space, and a galley kitchen. Not much of a view, but the apartment is quiet, and the convenience of being close to town is a major plus.

Although it is very clean, it is a bit rustic so if you insist on everything being new and sparkling find a Marriott somewhere. But there is something super charming about being greeted in the morning by little Henry the dog! It was clean, convenient and comfortable. My husband, year-old son, and I were there for the week to ski and had a great time. The apartment is so clean and Maggie provided a perfect guide to the house and town. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Walking distance to town, easy check in, great communication with host and the place was spotless, cozy and well equipped. What more could you ask for?! I would not hesitate to book her place again. I had a great time at Matt and Ashley's apartment.

Everything looks like in the pictures. The apartment is quite new and you find all what you need. Bed was super comfy, everything was clean. Ashley was very welcoming and even provided some light snacks. Would come back at anytime! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Matt's place was great. Very clean, he had everything we needed.

Wifi is fast if you need to get some work done there. We really enjoyed our stay at Matt and Ashley's rental! They were amazing hosts and kindly greeted us and were very responsive and helpful.

The space is modern, clean, cozy and convenient. During the recent heat wave, the AC unit was a huge bonus. All needed amenities were present and the space is private. The location is perfect. It is walkable to the center of Winooski and 10 mins from Burlington. We hope to be back soon and would definitely stay here again!

This apartment is super cute, very much worth the cost, and very convenient to downtown Winooski and Burlington. Matt was a great host. He greeted us and shared the brief history about his house. The apartment was very clean, modernly decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable!

They simply thought of everything we could have possibly needed. Thank you for being great hosts. We hope to return in the future. Such a lovely stay! Though it was for only one night, the cabin was truly just as described and exceeded our expectations for how cozy and comfortable it would be.

The description is spot on - this is perfect for visitors who want something different than a hotel or apartment, but still maintain the "creature comforts" as Sam and Fran say. The outdoor shower is a highlight, as is the back den in the mornings with a cup of coffee.

Really convenient location, about a minute drive to Burlington. We were only able to meet Sam, and he was very hospitable, easygoing, and laidback. It appears he collects his own rainwater and has his own chickens, which we thought was awesome. Sam and Fran's place is truly a unique property, would definitely recommend!

I wish we stayed longer than one night at Sam and Fran's cozy cabin. We were especially excited to stay here since as urban New Yorkers go, we're as urban as they get. So staying in this cabin was an experience in and of itself. We were warmly greeted by Sam and Fran upon entering their driveway and had a perfect parking spot just for us right next to the cabin. Sam gave us a wonderful tour of the quaint one bedroom with bunk beds, a back porch with a beautiful view of nature's finest, a fire pit with benches perfect for roasting marshmallows, an outdoors shower, and marine toilet Hidden by Airbnb it!

Think porter-potty or training potty in a toilet-shape. Besides a great view, the back porch had an old-school vessel with two large jugs of water for us to wash our faces and brush our teeth since there is no indoor-plumbing.

All of which, Sam and Fran described in the airbnb listing so there were no surprises. Our space also had a coffee machine with two mugs set just for us and our morning brew. Plus, extra blankets in case we got chilly and a fan in case we got too hot. It was an enclosed outdoor shower but I still needed a minute to get over my cray cray city mindset i.

Anyway, I could've lived in that shower. Between the incredible water pressure and the breathtaking view of Vermont's landscape, I was in another world. As far as the fire pit goes, Sam pointed us to his great stack of kindling and logs to prepare our evening bonfire if we so chose. But, we're so damn urban that we couldn't get our fire burning for longer than a few minutes.

We had all the necessary tools, but didn't earn our scout patches. We did learn that we can't survive the zombie apocalypse. While the beds weren't super comfy they are bunk beds after all , we slept fine and would definitely come back again to have another go at that fire pit. Clip-On Mosquito Repellant to protect yourself from mosquitoes, bugs, and flying things.

Very cute and close to Burlington and The Shelburne Museum. The cabin feels quite private despite being right in the backyard. We would stay here again. We had a great time at the cabin! It was cozy, had nice plush beds, and a very relaxing porch that overlooks some wilderness.

Great outdoor hot shower, eventhough in crisp Fall weather. Potty is unique, but was super clean. Sam provided wood and kindling wood for a nice campfire. You would want to bring a flash light, just like you would on a camping trip. Sam and Fran were very welcoming, the beds quite comfortable, and the outdoor shower was lovely. It was a perfect weekend to visit Vermont. Sam was also kind enough to pick up some Heady Topper to save me the trouble of finding it in the store which can apparently be tough.

The chickens were also pretty adorable. Thanks again for everything! This adorable cabin was our first Airbnb experience and it was great! We really wanted to try something out of the box from a normal hotel room and this delivered.

Perfect for two people, comfortable, and clean. We felt right at home. Clean, charming, and cozy -- a "camping trip" without the hassle of leaving behind wifi and electricity! The cabin is such a cozy place in the woods. We had a great time by the creek and enjoyed the books on the shelf.

The sound of traffic was a bit loud for us but overall we had a wonderful time. Everything you need, clean, and great location for hiking and exploring northern Vermont. We came up for four days over winter break to nordic ski at Craftsbury and check out the Northeast Kingdom. The cabin was an excellent base. Close to town - the Buffalo Mtn. Even with the rain and warm temps, skiing was great. Once we got the woodstove going, the cabin heated right up and we stayed warm and toasty.

Our second day up at Craftsbury the temps dropped back down and we saw the state high school championships ski races.

So fun, so fast. Make sure you bring micro spikes - the trail to the cabin was slippery. And remember your headlamps! So many windows in the cabin - so many stars at night.

Outstanding view out every window. The kitchen and shower surprisingly nice. Would like to visit again in the summer. Kyle's cabin is a small wonderland I highly recommend. Follow the "Know before you go" and house manuals, and you will be all set! Kyle was super quick to respond, so definitely text him if you have questions!

Things to know about the cabin: Kyle was awesome and had some lanterns and candles there, but it was helpful to bring extra. This saved us when doing dishes or cleaning our boots - Bug spray is a must in the summer!!! We loved waking up late, cooking breakfast, listening to birds, drinking tea, playing scrabble, and hiking around Hardwick. Thank you for such a magical escape. This cabin is definately for those who enjoy the outdoors and getting back to a simple lifestyle.

We felt connected to the Vermont landscape in the cabin and enjoyed our candlelit nights. Bring tea light candles to be on the safe side. What a beautiful and calm place! You can't have a better place for a trip in Vermont! Clean, calm and beautiful.

The best airbnb we had so far! The price reflects the quality of this place! Thanks again and if we go back in Vermont, we will go back to your place! Melissa greeted us when we came in after dark and gave us good recommendations for dinner we loved the food and drink at Lost Nation brewery.

Appreciated the little details like toiletries offered. Would stay again and recommend to friends! Chris and Melissa have made a great spot for visiting-- very comfortable and easy to all seasons local attraction. The apartment is beyond cute! It is set up wonderfully and decorated quite tastefully. My guests felt right at home.

Fresh eggs from the chickens, coffee for the coffee machine, and a few snacks were all nice touches. Chris and Melissa met us and showed us up to their beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment. Only good things to say about this. Agree with the previous positive reviews- this place is great and has what you need plus a few extras in toiletries, kitchen supplies, etc for a great getaway.

We visited in the winter and spent time visiting the local breweries, green mountain distilleries, and the Stowe area for grub and xc skiing. Wouldn't hesitate to return in the summer months for hiking! Chris and Melissa are great hosts. The apartment is great. The local town is very nice. The apartment was lovely and clean and the hosts had left some lovely touches for us.

We had a great time staying in Lyndall and Scott's house. The house is lovely, complete with aga and old glass in the windows. The garden was a really tranquil place to relax in we loved the humming birds and it really feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Lyndall and Scott plus the cats were great hosts and there were lots of nice touches, like the hiking information and leaflets in the room and the fresh mineral water in our own little fridge.

Lyndall and Scott have the best Airbnb I'm sure of it! Both are very open, welcoming and you feel instantly, they love what they do. The house, the garden, our cute room were perfect for us. The humming birds and the cats will win your heart. I cant put it all in words as we were blown away by the hospitality of the two!

We can highly recommend Lyndall and Scotts place! I can't thank Lyndal and Scott the hospitality kindness they extended myself and my partner had a wonderful stay in a magical place tuck away in Stowe our bed was comfortable rooms was clean just the whole experience was wonderful it's was a privilege have met such good people.

We only spent 1 night at Lyndall's place; she and her husband were lovely people and we had a pleasant stay. Communication was efficient, and useful instructions are given to get to the house, which is slightly tucked away in the woods yet very conveniently located, close from Stowe village and various hiking options. The place is cozy, clean and with a definite historic charm. I slept like a lamb in the cushiony bed. There is only a washbasin in the room but the shower downstairs is easily accessible and "private", thanks to a second door.

We didn't have the time to enjoy the land around the house, but sitting on one of the wooden chairs listening to the water stream sure seemed appealing! Love the attic room! Thank you for everything Esp offering to let us stay for Halloween Sorry we had a flight to catch. I stayed at Cottage Gardens for the second time, this time with my partner. Lyndall and Scott are fabulous hosts, providing comfortable and charming accommodation including simple breakfast. They provided a wealth of info about local activities, and were able to give us excellent advice for hiking and dining.

We also loved the gardens stunning! I would absolutely stay again! As we were regretfully returning home from our 6 days at the Mt. Mansfield Homestead my wife and I were debating which we would miss the most: Would it be the charming property, the meticulously cared-for grounds and gardens, or the delightful hosts?

Each of these we found to be beyond compare. The home is, literally, a handcrafted masterpiece. Period correct in every way. Delightful to an obsessive-compulsive such as myself. The closer I looked the more painstaking detail I discovered. Scott is building a living sculpture in wood, one nail at a time. The grounds were fantastic.

To call Lyndall a Master Gardener is to sell short her green thumb. Everything was lovingly attended to and beautiful and fragrant. Both Lyndall and Scott are vibrant, gracious and thoughtful hosts.

PK left the cabin unlocked and started the wood stove for us so it was nice and cozy when we arrived. Once we got settled in we were greeted by a very friendly PK who showed us how to use everything and gave us a quick rundown on the area.

This cabin and it's quiet location was everything I was hoping for and then some. Everything was straight forward and it is a steal for the price. A cute and cozy log cabin in the woods of VT?

We had a blast taking a trip to Stowe and hiking Sterling Pond. Pk was super friendly! The cabin is exactly what we expected- it's not a hotel, but way better than camping! It was a great mini get away for the price! Lovely location for a back to nature experience. Pk stopped by to check on us in the morning. Close to Smugglers notch, hiking and a windy 30 minute drive to Stowe.

Would have enjoyed staying longer had our schedule permitted. The first morning the shower stopped working with me covered in soap! My husband messaged the host immediately and it took him almost two hours to respond; we had to use water from the creek to finish showering!

Finally the host said he would come check on it in the afternoon or he offered to refund us and we could leave. We are from Maryland and had no where else to stay and every hotel was really expensive since it was last minute so I said if he could fix it we would stay.

I tried to be as accommodating as possible since things do break. We used one of the two towels for the floor in the tiny bathroom since we had to use water from the creek and it was messy. Then the host hung up BOTH towels as if he expected us to use them!

I told him that we had to use one towel for the floor it is wood and I wanted to protect it for him and that we would need new towels for the next day. He did not reply. I went out and looked at like 10 am, no towels, so I messaged him. No answer until after 11 and check out was at We finally found the towels hidden under one of the chairs on the porch when we were loading up our car. The host did not communicate the location of the towels and I messaged him saying that I would have appreciated him communicating this because now we had to leave without showering.
