Shipments were sent by air and sea. I would travel to these bases and outposts every six weeks and also get take part in operating the food services operations One of my functions was to develop equipment or food items that could be used on these island to reduce costs and still maintain excellent food quality standard for the feeding of the employees and contractors at these venues.
