Dear Robin and Keith and Family, We just wanted to thank all of you for the exceptionally beautiful campsite that all of you work SO hard to provide us with, each and every year.. Having been in business for many years in Prince George, dealing with " the good, the bad, and the ugly," we know the daily happenings that you must deal with..

Please know that we appreciate each and every effort that you make in order to run such a high standard , second to none, campsite, business.. You go the extra mile, it does not go unnoticed! Please take care, have a great season, we will see you in Take care, be happy, be safe.. Robin and Keith, Thank you so much for everything, and for the African Violet. You both have done such a great job making it much nicer for your guests. Wishing you and your family good health.

If I had to choose the nicest resort we've ever been to, this one would be it - without question. We booked slightly ahead of the Labour Day weekend and expected to take what we could get, based on the short notice.

Besides being wide and spacious, we were an end site - so the grassy area with picnic table that was also part of our site was like having our own personal park!

Walking paths, Dragon Lake just metres from our doorstep, and a secure gated beautifully kept resort. I could have moved in for the rest of my life. Cable which we didn't use - we have a satellite dish , speedy Internet which we did use , laundry, restrooms, water, sewer, 30 amp power. The lovely town of Quesnel about 5 - 10 minutes away. Groceries and a Walmart almost on the doorstep for convenience. And Barkerville our primary objective about an hour's drive away. This is the nicest RV resort it's much too nice to call it a campground!

I would highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - and again and again and again! We camped here in a Motorhome. But for that one night there was great service, everything was clean and quiet. And the other people who were on the camp ground were nice. One even came with a hose to us. I highly recommend this place. All areas are very clean and well maintained.

The setting is quite nice. There is a variety of spots. Ours is perfect for us and our 2 papillons. This has been the best campground yet on our trip to Denali.

Awesome wi-go, quiet, right on Dragon Lake, super staff. The toilet house also clean and tidy. For the shower you have coins needed. There is also a laundry on site. There are places on the water as possible because the site is located on a beautiful lake. Gem of a campground. Need reservations for long weekends. This is one fantastic park. Lot's of improvements since we last stayed here about 8 years ago.

Nice place, super cool owners, would come again. Bathrooms are top notch.

Nice place, super cool owners, would come again. Bathrooms are top notch. We cannot praise and speak high enough about this park. Well spaced and well thought out sites for all from large RV's towing dinghies or smaller 5th wheel units to tent trailers. Robin is a certified Landscape Designer and the park displays her artistic touch.

On certain nights of the week one might sign up for a lengthy tour of Dragon Lake in a lovely pontoon boat with Keith, Robin's husband. FYI they feature the best WiFi for free we experienced in our entire journey. When in the Quesnel area, this is the place to rest- as an added local feature one can pan the Fraser River for gold.

We had a wonderful experience camping at Robert's Roost. They were so welcoming. Stayed for July 1 they put a firework display that was astounding. Thank you for making our family time a special memory. With Boat Jetty, plenty of space even for the largest RV. This includes a very well-kept park. The large barbecue area is also a meeting place of the campers learn for a cozy get-together and get to know. Has a large playground and a barbeque house. The toilets are cleaned thoroughly, and are therefore particularly clean.

Hosts are very accommodating. Looking forward to returning. Whether I'm traveling through home to Prince George or Spending a weekend to weeks fishing: One Of my favorite's quiet, clean and very well kept great service. This was a gorgeous campground on the shore of Dragon Lake.

Subject to available space, you can get a lake view. We had excellent hiking in the area, could ride our bikes down into Quesnel, and spend two days on the lake - one fishing with a boat we rented at the campground, and another kayaking with kayaks we rented as well. I can't wait to come back again. Very well run clean campground. My wife stayed here with her family back when they moved to Quesnel. Very nice clean, park like setting. We really enjoyed our first stay at your park.

Thank you for the fantastic fireworks last night. Our son is still talking about them! We come from an 8 hr drive , passing by lots of lakes. The people at Robert's Roost are friendly and the property is beautiful, and most important they make me feel comfortable and for a holiday that is how you want to feel.

We come from the lower mainland to enjoy some of the best fishing we've ever done. I caught my first "big" fish at Dragon Lake and it was really me that got hooked! Then I met Keith and Robin and what delightful hosts they were. My husband and I got married at Roberts Roost 2 yrs ago during our fishing trip and will spend our anniversary there this year Thank you Keith, Robin and family for always making it a wonderful experience!

Roberts Roost campground was the first stop of our epically planned road trip from Surrey. We arrived and immediately started commenting to eachother how pretty it looked. When we went to sign in at the office the lady at the front greeted us with a beautiful smile and cheerful additude. She has filled the office with beautiful artisan crafted dresses and clothing items from India as well as some beautiful hand crafted items she had done this past winter the dresses were so pretty I bought one the lake is unbelievably warm, it is muddy on the bottom so they have provided a big beautiful dock for you swim off of or you and your family to sit and watch the duck and geese on the water.

The sites and road are all gravel and they have big beautiful open fields for camping as well. Our WIFI was better at the campsite than our house and digital cable as well. They had a beautiful garden you can walk thru and where they have outdoor movies on Saturday nights. They also have two beautiful decks with two lounging chairs with sheer drapes you can put down for ambiance or privacy but the best part is they are adult only so you don't need to worry about your kids bugging you.

Right next to them is a nice outdoor shower to cool yourself off. Large, clean bathrooms, showers and laundry room. One thing I will say off the bat is this is not a "Party" campground you don't need to worry about the other campers running around blaring the music all night long hooting and hollering, this is a campground where after you put the kids to bed you can grab your coffee, beer or wine and sit outside with your spouse and enjoy a quiet evening looking out at the lake or staring at the stars.

We loved it so much we cancelled our entire holiday itinerary just to arrange to stay here longer. I have never enjoyed a campground experience this much before and I have a camping membership elsewhere their is nothing negative for me to say about our stay there.

Having spent two peaceful days at Robert's Roost, it has to be hat's off to the friendly and helpful owners Robin and Keith, for what is an excellently run campsite with immaculate facilities, all set in a beautiful landscaped park and magnificent scenery running down to the lakeshore of Dragon Lake.

We went looking for peace and quiet and we found it. Quiet, Clean and well maintained. Really enjoyed the view from the comfy deck chairs on the dock We'd definitely come back here! Loved the individual washrooms. We enjoyed our stay! We stayed there for several nights on the way to Alaska. We are a couple from the Netherlands and supposed to stay for 1 night but this campground feels like heaven so we stayed 3 nights.

Also visiting Barkerville in between 80 km The owners are wonderful and from the beginning we felt very welcome. Washrooms 11 are all individual and with private toilet. They were very clean. All campgrounds are very specious and with enough privacy. They let us take the rowingboat for free is that nice or what? The best CG we have been so far - Joan L. Reviewed 2 September via mobile.

From boat rentals to ducks and geese this is probably the most fun we have ever had in an rv resort. The service was fantastic and with quesnel down the road and barkerville an hour and a bit away we had a blast from the past. We will definitely be coming back to roberts roost! Stayed July , travelled with family - Drew B. A Trip Advisor member. Access to Dragon Lake. We've stayed there now three times, each time in a different site. Each time has been very pleasant. Quiet hours are expected to be respected--inappropriate behavior is not tolerated--Campers are encouraged to treat other guests with courtesy and respect privacy.

The place is gated, so that's a plus. They have a clean shower house with individual rooms with toilets and sink , as well as laundry area. There is a nice dock area where you walk out on a floating causeway to the dock with nice seating. Great place to relax in the evening. While they don't allow individual campfires propane rings are okay , there are some well-sited fire-pits that campers can use if wanting a campfire evening.

Stayed July , travelled as a couple - Titetown Waterfront accommodation, beautiful lake, boat rentals and big rainbows. The Roost RV site gets bonus points for how it is set up and the owners are very pleasant. Recommended to one and all. I will make a point of staying here every chance I get. This campground is a very clean, friendly campground. We were treated very well. Showers, laundry, a lake, walking trails, children's playground and much more.

Security on site and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Best RV place in this area. Great staff, some grassy sites and lots overlooking the lake. This place includes your cable, power, water, sewer, and internet. If you're looking to rent a paddle boat, row boat or power boat they have those too. It is so close to major stores and the highway, but is amazingly quiet at night.

We have stayed here a few times. It is very clean, the sites are ample, and it is a great place to walk the dogs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had been looking for an RV park since Prince George and nobody had any spots, or they were closed. We were happy to find that this one had a site for us. Hope to see you and Keith very soon. It is always a pleasure visiting your Roost! We stayed for 3 nights over the Canada Day weekend and we were not disappointed!

Even though we booked one of the last remaining serviced sites, I think we got one of the best. Every spot in this extremely well manicured park is a winner. We stayed in Site 2 and it was the perfect location for everything. Even though we weren't right on the lakefront, it was still beautiful with a large grassy area directly behind us and lots of privacy. There are 3 or 4 gazebos with recliners to enjoy the lake view.

Each is appointed with solar lights and even a chandelier! Such a lovely touch. We even had free entertainment with fireworks on Canada Day which made it even more special. The rates are reasonable and the grounds are spotless. Staff are very attentive but not overbearing. The store has funky clothing and the washrooms come complete with separate rooms which include a shower and sink for privacy.

We never used them as we had full hookups but the option is there as well as a laundry room. The wifi was really good too - fast and efficient and included with your rental fee. What a wonderful gem this place is - far and away it outclasses many other RV parks we've stayed in throughout the province. Highly recommend Robert's Roost! Stayed July , travelled as a couple - michie Trip Advisor Member. The grounds were emaculately groomed. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and super helpful.

The view of the lake is breath taking! We would stay again in the future and highly recommend it. One of the best RV gems around! Reviewed 2 weeks ago via mobile From boat rentals to ducks and geese this is probably the most fun we have ever had in an rv resort. It is a very friendly, well run park that offers everything from basic sites to full hookup, drive through, lake side spots.

The lake offers some of the best rainbow trout fishing in BC. Try your luck from their dock, launch your own boat or rent a boat from the park owners, Keith and Robin. Be sure to have Keith take you out for an evening cruise of the lake in their pontoon boat.

A great deal that included an hour and a half ride of the entire lake, munchies and beverages. The Quesnel area has nice golf courses and numerous day trip adventures like historic Barkerville. Stayed September , travelled with friends - Terry A. The owners were so helpful and the place is so clean and tidy, makes you want to stay longer. Had a little problem getting the cable to work. Went up to the office and chatted with Keith for a few minutes and he was at the trailer 3 minutes later.

Got us up and running. Minutes to all amenties, shopping and all the walking trails of Quesnel. Also for the lady quilters, two great shops. Beautiful place, exceptionally well maintained, clean and very friendly helpful owners. Saturday night they played an outdoor movie on a big screen, fun!

Looking forward to coming back some day for a longer trip. Can't recommend it enough. Stayed August , travelled with family. One of nicest RV parks we've stayed at. Hope to go back. Nice level pull thru with full service at reasonable price - Yaak Valley. Reviewed 8 August via mobile Have stayed here a few times while passing through on travels. Stayed August , travelled with family - Wendy P.

We stayed 6 nights and owner offered us the weekly rate without being asked. Very helpful and friendly. Nice sites right on Dragon Lake which is a popular trout fishing lake. Very busy park but still quiet and clean.

Nice sites looking out at the lake for our fifth with 3 slides. Large off leash area for pets. A very beautiful place to relax. We will be back. We've been coming here for 3 summers and love the campsite and the lake!

Thank you for being so accommodating! Had such an amazing time at paint night! The food and service was so good!!! We tried the charcuterie board, the Maui wowie pizza and the caprese pizza.

Paint night was awesome, I can't wait to do it again! This is one of the best private campgrounds we have been to in BC! We had a spot with lake view which made our breakfast in the sun just perfect.

The whole campground is quite spacious, there are many places where you can sit on a patio or next to the lake to enjoy the sun.

There are many washrooms but only 3 were open probably they will open more during high season However 3 were enough and they were quite clean. There is fast wifi everywhere. The prices are very reasonable for what is offered. Would definitely go there again!
