Its like they were patiently waiting for us to leave to go through our items. We would never return to this Hotel. Vacation with my 12 year old daughter Jules R, Thu Sep 27 So much to do at the hotel itself. The staff, and I mean ALL of the staff, looked happy and truly acted like they loved their jobs. Even my 12 year noticed that. We booked one excursion with a rogue travel agent in the hotel and it was amazing but then learned the hotel had its own travel agent which we booked outside events with afterwards.

She was beyond knowledgeable and helped handpick what worked best did my daughter. The food was awesome. We ate early dinner, like 7: We experimented with the included a la cart restraints and loved everything!!!

Hands down This was the the best vacation my daughter and I have ever had. This is THE family friendly resort. The rooms we had were double standard which is very roomy, the they were cleaned regularly, however room toilets are very small and would often get blocked and upon calling for maintenance it would take them approx 30min to actually come and fix it, which by that time your room and hall way will be flooded.

Grand Oasis palm has many restaurants on site to chose from, however they only have one open for breakfast, which means if you don't wake up early enough you will waiting in queues for 20 minutes with all other hotel guests.

Similarly with lunch and dinner, some restaurants you will have to make reservations or come with additional charges such as drinks and tips, furthermore a few restaurants are only available for Grand members blue band. What you will find in nearly all restaurants, is that the service is very good, however if you don't tip or tip very little you will definitely see bad service the next time you visit. At the Grand Oasis, the bar service is great and bartenders understand your orders, again if you go to the bars at there peak hours usually around midday, you will also face lengthy queues.

And like with restaurants some bars are only available to grand members. It was our first time visiting and we had a great time.

We reserved cabanas at the beach club for the week and we had two servers that were amazing - Marvi and Melody! They made our experience there even better. From the restaurant recommendations, quick service and conversation. The bartender in the Tequila lounge, Esau, was great too!

The ceviche is the best I ever had. Oh and I can't forget Daniel! He was the bomb. We had an all around great time. The only improvement I will say about the resort is the AC in the rooms.

It wasn't as cold as it should have been. Other than that, it was nice. Deserts selection was not very good like other allinclusives we have stayed in.

Buffer was better for breakfasts anything you ordered that was cooked fresh was fine. As we stayled in the Grand Oasis Palm you could use all the facilities in the sister hotel next door please be aware that the front bar in the hotel of the Palm, the Whitebox, Cuban cigar bar are all Adutls only which is strange as this is mainly a family hotel.

So for kid friendly restaurants and bars you only have the beach bar, maci taki. They have a sea food restaurant and a sports bar which is ok. Good points Location is stunning on a nice stretch of beach. The hammocks in the sea are great. Kids loved the climbing inflatable, sea kayaks. If you stay in the Grand Palm you get to go out once on the pirate boat but must be pre booked everyone had a great day the staff are amazing on board we had a great experience.

They have coffee shops in each hotel which have nice buns etc. The staff in them are great and very friendly. The hotels are both very clean in and around the lobby areas but the pool areas can get very busy and could do with regular cleaning.

Sports bar is great for drinks as you get served quickly. The kids club is brilliant lots to do plus they have a pool with slides. The Main entertainment hall is good and the shows we seen were impressive the Disney character show, Michael Jackson Etc The entertainment staff were great especially Oliven and his friend who took us to the tourist sites on the bike tour They do a great job.

The rooms were very clean the staff work hard and look after you free mini bar was well stocked we had good view of the boats and beach. I Would recommend a day trip to the Isla Majures the boat leaves beside the hotel hire golf buggy and tour the island.

This is the 3rd time we have been to Cancun but I doubt that we would stay at this hotel again unless they made some improvements.
