Just weeks after revealing plans to launch its new mobile-first, customer-led banking offering to Australian consumers later this year, newly established 86 has taken the wrappers off its visual brand identity. The bank, which is backed by payments solutions provider, Cuscal, and the brainchild of four founders - former UK neobank veteran, Anthony Thomson, ex-ANZ Japan CEO, Robert Bell, and ex-Cuscal CIO, Brian Parker - will launch in beta towards the end of and has been two years in the making, building a suite of proprietary technologies to support its aims.

The group has also recruited former Westpac digital leader, Tyler Travis, as its inaugural chief marketing and product officer.

The name, 86 , comes from the number of seconds in a day and is designed to reflect the real-time services mantra behind the Aussie business. The subsequent brand design aims to highlight this relevant digital-digital experience, as well as position 86 as a trusted provider of financial services. Hulsbosch has been tasked with the full suite of brand applications for internal and external use.

This concept set the tone for a beautiful, succinct visual language which all anchors back to this idea — that 86 delivers value every second, of every minute, or every day — all eight-six four hundred of them. The logo, for example, is designed as an evolving logo based on the second as an increment of time, and uses a punctuation mark, colon icon and extensive colour palette, Hulsbosch said.

The new branding and supporting guidelines will start rolling out in coming months and will be supported by a national multi-channel launch campaign. Follow CMO on Twitter: Sign up to gain exclusive access to email subscriptions, event invitations, competitions, giveaways, and much more.

Responded quickly to our messages and very informative. The location was a short walk from the main plaza. WIth a great view from the 3rd floor. This was a great place in a terrific location. There was coffee but when you are in a place for just a few days or a week you aren't going to use enough to justify the purchase. Also a map of the city would have been helpful. Otherwise a great place which we can recommend.

Loved apartment 5 because of the outstanding view. The location was great - easy walk to centre of town and everything we wanted to see in Guanajuato.

Suite was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The view of the town from our window and balcony was excellent! Gaining access on our first night was easy and Roberto made sure we had no problems despite our late night arrival.

We stayed there for one night and the hospitality they offered was amazing. We were able to leave our luggage before check in with the lady that is in charge of the room service and she was super nice and understanding.

We left our luggage way before check in and she went out of her way to put our belongings in our room so when we arrived after our tour our belonging would in the room. She went as far as putting a flower arrangement my bf gifted me in a vase with water. The location is great and the scenery at night was beautiful! The room is fully equipped and clean. Only concern is that the electricity was shut off in the morning so we were unable to charge our phones, but other than that everything else was great!!

The apartment is located very close to the historical center, is very big and a combination of old house with really nice modern furniture. The yard is butiful and offers a lot of space to chill and hang out. At night the apartment is super quiet and has wooden shades at the windows. Everything was very clean, contact was easy and nice! This is an amazing place to stay, is cheap of you use all the space which the place have, four.

Is cleaning, you can go walk to te center of the city, I only can say it was a pleasure to be there. If I come back to Guanajuato I'd choose this place again. The pictures are very accurate, it's such a cute little place. You get a microwave, coffee maker, blender, refrigerator, and stove. It is a very quiet place, so you won't have issues falling asleep at night.

There is also a smart tv in the master bedroom, therefore you can log into your netflix account if you have it! Our stay was fantastic and we would definitely stay there again. The price was fantastic for what we got! Very cute, super clean and safe. Salvador made first my visit to Guanajuanto the best. Fabulous location, very close to the historic center.

Everything is in walking distance. Communication with host was excellent. The place is secured and tucked away in a courtyard setting with plants and a giant mandarin tree. Very spacious casita and well equipped with kitchen appliances. A fresh food market around the corner, as well as a liquor store. My sister, my little dog, and I love it here: Much nicer than expected. It was a small walk to downtown but very convenient. The bed was so comfy and the sheets were so so soft!

The little patio was a nice surprise too. Mariana's small, minimally furnished apartment is very well situated within a short walk to the lively historical centre and the principal sites of this stunningly beautiful city. The apartment is in a quiet, safe residential neighbourhood but within 2 minutes walk to a beautiful, lively garden square with many places to eat. It is very close to a bus stop from the central bus station. The wifi functioned well.

Mariana responded promptly and helpfully to all our requests. Given its superb location, this apartment represents excellent value. The apartment is clean, quiet, comfortable and safe. Bus stop and market are closed to the house.

This place was awesome. The apartment has everything you could need, is extremely clean and new and is really close to the town centre. Mariana was really quick to respond to any messages and check-in was easy.

Great value for money. Great and stylish space in very close proximity to everything the city has to offer. A bit hidden in a narrow alley behind a narrow alley, but we took that as part of the charm. Very well located and close to the center. The flat is very clean and modern and mariana is an excellent host, she was in touch all the time and gave us all the information about the rules and tips.

We enjoyed our stay in Guanajuato and the flat was part of that great experience. Mariana is an excellent host, provided great recommendations and even additional information for our trip. The location is centric, apartment clean, comfortable and with a modern look. Compact space within walking distance from town centre. Mariana was a great communicator and was prompt with any queries that we had.

Todo queda cerca caminando. El departamento es independiente y muy tranquilo. This is an exquisite place, the details put into the house, the garden and the interior design is designed for the well being. This place is a must, if you are looking for good taste, fair rates, amazing location next to a Mineria la Valenciana and great hosting. Really nice house on the top of town. It takes about 20 mins by taxi to get this place from downtown. There are two lovely dogs in it, cute and friendly.

Everything in the house is amazing. The facilities are perfect. If you don't mind the distance, it's a good choice to stay on the mountain. Guillermo's place was very much like depicted in photos. The grounds were beautiful and his place was quiet at nights, very unlike Mexico. It was clean and maintained. The walk and bus trip into town was very tiring for two senior citizens, almost like work. Guess it would be considered which you prefer, quiet in the country or the convience of being in the city center.

His two dogs were a delight. Guillermo was a gracious host and always responded to questions and provided help with any concerns we had during our stay.

We loved this place. The host did an outstanding job at decorating this place. We would definitely stay here again. Guillermo has a wonderful home, and is a great host. HIs home is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood and is beautiful.

He as two lovely dogs who enjoy a good scratch and are always there to greet you when you come home. The bed is very comfortable, the space is very accommodating and kitchen is well equipped so you can have some meals at home.

Hot water is Hot! The wifi is top notch. Easy to stream Netflix or alike in the evenings. Lovely outside space to enjoy a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evenings. It is very easy and inexpensive to get into town. A couple of minute walk to the bus stop and 5 pesos each to get into central Guanajuato. Grab a cab back for 50 pesos. Cabs are plentiful in Guanajuato and just have to flag an empty one down.

Fr a few extra pesos cab driver will wait for you if you want to run into local Sorianas to pick up some groceries or wine etc. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here. Guillermo is a warm, sincere and incredibly generous host and the apartment is lovely.

Just as pictured, it was a perfect place to stay while visiting Guanajuato. The gardens are beautiful and Lola and Mocho, his two sweet dogs, were welcome companions.

The house is located a little ways from the center of town, but cab rides are easy and affordable, and I appreciated having a tranquil space to return to. I will stay at Guillermo's again when visiting Guanajuato and would recommend it highly to others. Great place to stay! Pretty, clean, great view! Front desk excellent service! Family ambient to stay! A nice clean space, very spacious, good parking and excellent to take our dogs on quiet walks.

Unfortunately the kitchen is not well-equipped and there's no cafes or restaurants nearby. I appreciate the host making an effort to provide some kitchen stuff for us but there were still things missing and the coffee maker isn't functioning well leaks. The kitchen needs - dish towels and cloths, pots with lids, a better pan, more cutting utensils, a cutting board, can opener, a bigger and proper functioning coffee maker, cooking oil, etc.

Tranquilo, impecable, con amplio estacionamiento. No le falta nada! This house is really good. It is bigger than what we saw on the website. The place is a little bit hard to find at the first time. Christian is a really nice guy, He help me to solve any problems in Guanajuato. I was traveling with my 76 year old mother and it was impossible for us to access the place with luggage. There is no parking on premises as listed but a public parking nearby were you have to leave your car and walk with your luggage through a steep walking only street.

I told the host that this fact should be added to the description because it can be an issue for some people. Although it was our decision not to stay there and spend the night in a hotel nearby, I think that a reimbursement of some kind should have been offered.

The communication was adequate. Muchas gracias Christian y yordana. Had a great stay here! It can be noisy on the weekend for light sleepers but that comes with the prime location!

The location is perfect for those who love to explore the historic district on foot, like us. A lot of amazing churches, restaurants, and bars are nearly, and a cable that sends people up to the top of mountain is just 5mins walk from the apartment.

Jose is very helpful and thoughtful, and he gave us suggestions about exploring the city and commuting to the transit center. The location is unbeatable! It's just a few steps from the main plaza and everything there is to do in the downtown area- bars, restaurants, market, theaters, etc. Like others said, it's very close to a popular bar and club so I expected the noise level which was not really a problem for me but may be bothersome to light sleepers since the windows don't fully close.

Although the place is in the perfect location, you get what you see in the pictures. It only had the bare minimum and I do not think the place was ready for us when we arrived. We needed more supplies towels, toilet paper, water but after contacting the host, we received what we requested by the end of the night.

I never met the host in person but there were no issues in communication- we were able to talk on the phone or text with any questions we had. I think the place can have a few more amenities- more glasses for water, mugs for coffee and hand soap in the restrooms. I recommend this place if you're looking for a prime location and a place to sleep after being out and exploring all day. The flat is located in city centre, you can't find anything better than this but at the same time that means that you get to stay around in a crowded area so just keep in mind that it will be really loud at nights.

Unfortunately the bedrooms had no doors and instead had curtains which I find annoying when it comes to privacy. The hosts are great and very communicative, I do recommend this place if you are there for the weekend: We had to stay in downtown Guanajuato for a night due to an emergency.

I was with my parents and a friend and could not sleep very well due to a lot of noice outside The location is very good, minutes from the main plaza and a short walk to the many attractions of GTO's historic centre. However, renters should be aware the apartments are located right over a very popular and lively bar so are quite noisy until about 1am.

As well, there are busy roads on both sides of the building so expect early morning traffic. That said, good earplugs did the job. Bathrooms are compact; large people could find them a challenge. Josermaria and her co-host are very helpful and quick to respond to questions or concerns. My friend and I stayed here on a Saturday night so we could explore Guanajuato for the first time. CON When we arrived we had a hard time finding the place and we also struggled a bit trying to unlock the outside lock.

CON We tried calling the host s but got no response so that was a bit frustrating. However, PRO the apartment smelled nice and clean and appeared as such. PRO it was roomy and could easily accommodate 6 people. CON there were no face towels nor hand towels provided, and the ironing board was super burned and stained; I was not going to iron anything on it. CON the mattresses are situated on palates rendering the bed uncomfortable.

There was no soap in the half bath as well. CON the sugar that came with the coffee was so expired and old it was one dried lump, rendering it unusable and there was no drinking water provided to drink or make coffee with. PRO the fridge was very clean. The apartment, however, left much to be desired with its dinginess and subpar amenities, the check-in process was a tad frustrating, and the hosts were unreachable until checkout time.

Mariana's apartment is so pretty, near to the downtown just 10 mins walking, it's a comfortable, clean and very nice place, Mariana is a great host, so kind and friendly. We had a great stay.

Comfortable place, fits your basic needs when you make a work travel. I had an small Issue finding address but Carolina was very kind and guided me.

This was one of my favorite airbnb's. There were a few little quirks but those were minimal and were far outweighed by such amazing hospitality. Communication before arrival was quick and very helpful.

We were met at the home on time and given a walkthrough. The family lives on the property and were amazing! We left thinking of them as friends. It's a country setting so you'll have to walk for anything and nothing of significance is close by, but if you enjoy peace away from the city it's great. None of those things were extreme enough to turn us off significantly.

We covered the window with a blanket and the other things seem typical for Mexico. We would most definitely stay again. The place is neat, clean and comfortable.

The hosts are super nice and helpful. Close by the airport, I definitely recommend it and I would stay again. They treated us amazing from the very moment we arrived. Helped us with dinner plans that night and we really appreciated everything they did for us. We would definitely stay with them again in the future. Carolina was an excellent host as she was very attentive to our needs, answering our questions, and connecting us with great drivers and a fun tour guide.

The location is very convenient to the airport, but make sure you have accurate directions, as it is difficult to find. Better yet, have Carolina arrange your ride from the airport, as the driver will already be familiar with the location and it is much less expensive than a taxi. The location is unique and special We had one short day there that was jam-packed with wonderful experiences because of this extended family.

The water pressure was low, but I know they are working on it. Adriana is an outstanding hostess. We arrived at the airport and took a taxi to her place. She was kind enough to talk to the taxi driver over the phone to give directions. When we arrived she promptly and warmly met us. Her room with kitchenette is very clean and beautifully decorated. A nice view and relaxing courtyard as well. If feels very safe. She took her time explaining the tv, WiFi both which worked great and gave us a map of the area.

Explained how to get around and made suggestions of places to stop in. She took as much time answering our many questions and never made us feel like we were bothering her and she was always available with a quick response to our questions throughout our visit. We will definitely return and bring friends. We enjoyed very much staying at Adriana's flat: It is quiet, never gets too warm, is entirely new with a beautiful deco in the local Mexican style and a beautiful bathroom with local azulejos.

It is very functional and has everything you need and it is perfectly clean. It has a big window with an amazing view on Guanajuato hills, and it is lovely to wake up with this gorgeous view. The location is perfect, right nearby Jardin Ambajadoras, a charming garden. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to Jardin Union, the center which can be noisy.

Adriana is a very warm person. She did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. She answered all our questions and special requests immediately and was available all the time if needed. We truly recommend this flat. Had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Adriana's home. It is private, quiet, but has the center of the city a close 10 minute walk away. The walk is also beautiful!

The apartment was clean, beautifully furnished, and we had a brilliant view of the city and mountains from the bedroom. Would love to stay again and highly recommend this as a home base during your stay in Guanajuato! Adriana's place is lovely. It is a 7 to 10 minute walk to Guanajuato Historic Center. She picked us up at the airport for an extra fee of course but she was always friendly and helpful with any questions we had.

She even went out of her way and gave us a little private tour of the city tunnels and history. We would recommend Adriana's place in a heart bit. It is clean, spacious and close to everything. A really nice place to stay.

It's close to the center of downtown and especially your host is outstanding. Lots of great tips and hints. The place is being upgraded and we will be back! Adriana was a great host!. I convinced my coulegu from Peru to stya one more day and leave the show the folloing day. The following day we checkedout, a day earlier then schedueled. We will definitely come back to this event again, but never again to this hotel.

I fully understand your concern, in the same way we took immediate action with the authorities concerned, It is necessary to let you know that unfortunately this is a practice used lately, I assure you that our facilities are designed for your complete security and safety. The drawback is already reported as we strengthened our security protocols, I assure you this kind of events will not happen again in our property.

We hope that you will grant us the opportunity to welcome you back and restore your confidence on us. Once again, thanks a lot for your feedback. I was shocked a brand such as Holiday Inn designed, built and accepted a compressor attached to the hotel that basically pumped a deep thundering vibration into the building.

The low frequency, deep vibrating noise of this rumbled through the entire building and as soon as your head hits the pillow it conducts through your bones and ended up giving me headaches, nausea and pretty much zero sleep. I changed room after the first night to move up 2 floors from the 3rd to the 5th, no change. I tried on the second night to go comatose on local tequila, no change.

I tried the 3rd night to use my ear plugs and zero alcohol, no change. Pillows don't help, turning off the rooms AC did nothing to help. It could not be solved. I will never stay here again. Staff are nice, rooms are ok but the deep, low frequency hum from the compressor means its a total no go.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent visit at Holiday Inn Irapuato, please accept our sincerest apologies for the disturbance you have experienced during your stay due to the noise on your room. Rest assured that these issues will be looked into. We value your comments and welcome the opportunity to serve you again. I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions.

Staff are friendly and professional. Parking garage under the hotel provides good security. One watch-out is the noise from the train which passes quite often. Rooms at the front of the hotel away from the train are recommended. Thank you so much for your review of our hotel.
